I contribute to successfully passing my exam to a few factors, one being; the 1000 Study Guide, know those questions, and two; I enrolled in a program that took me through the course in 4 1/2 weeks, from cover to cover of the text. “I just wanted to let you know I wrote the Mortgage Brokers exam today. I’m happy to report I passed with an 82%. I don’t know if it’s worth sharing with your students or not but the exam I took was between 80-85% law, 15% math. I was actually shocked by the small amount of math and sad I didn’t have more, that was one aspect I mastered. I was ready for them to bring it on! The law questions were all over the place but there was a definite emphasis on chapter 5, chapter 6 and 7. They got right down to the details of it, which is where I lost some points. I was well versed in the big picture, not thinking they’d focus on the small picture so much (if that makes any sense). I realized today it’s such a gamble which way the test will go for you, it’s imperative to know everything and if I can send that message along to future students from someone who just took it, that will be my small part.
