Prerequisites:
You must register with UBC Sauder School of Business online through their website. This is mandatory before commencing the Real Smart Program. Call if you require our assistance. You must purchase the HP10B11 calculator (can be purchased on the UBC site or any office supply store). The UBC course fee is $875 including tax & exam fee.
NOTE: All UBC assignments must be completed within one year of registration. You can write the UBC Real Estate exam anytime your assignments are completed and passed, and you will need to provide UBC with acceptable English requirements. No other pre-requisite is required. Course Description:
This is an exciting time for a career in Real Estate. You can have your dreams come true in a matter of weeks! Real Smart offers you several options to choose from: Classroom, Online E-Learning, Blended Classes (online & classroom), or our Private Elite Class (individual tutoring). How does it work? There are two fees payable. One to UBC and one to Real Smart. The UBC course is by correspondence. Once you register online, UBC sends you all their textbooks and assignments. You are on your own to learn the Law and Math, and complete all of the Assignments in preparation for the exam. Sadly there is a very high failure rate on the UBC exam due to the sneaky, tricky way the course is worded, with no clear examples. The Real Smart course is to provide you with our material. We include the entire UBC course BUT rewritten in simple English and condensed down to what is important without compromising anything. We provide you with the “hands on” support you will need from the day you register until after you pass! We also assist with complimentary job placement.
Are you a visual learner? Most people are! We designed this course so you can see it, hear it and then do it. While you are sitting in our comfortable, professional classroom (with your coffee and cookies provided) following along in your Real Smart Workbook, your instructor is showing a Mac Slide Presentation with great examples of what he/she is describing, so you can visually “see” what is meant. After all, a picture is worth a 1000 words!

You can listen to the slides before and after each class. Let’s face it, you can’t hear everything in class. So when — not if — when, you get stuck on a question (possibly math) you don’t have to get frustrated trying to figure out why it’s not working, or wait until the next class. You can log on and go to the math module that pertains to what you are working on. Also our students have discovered that to really learn something, you need to hear it at least 3 times.
