Did you Register with Real Smart to secure your seat in the Classroom? It is recommend you do this first, as the Real Smart classes are very popular and are on a first come first serve basis. We would hate to see you not get the date you were hoping for by waiting. UBC is a 24/7 limitless registration. There are no requirements before you register. You just register, pay their fee and they will send the material to your home within 3 – 5 days?
You will just need to meet the English requirements before you can write the UBC exam, not before you start the course. Which many students do as they are in our program.
If you are taking the Online Only, then it does not really matter which way you register first. Some people like to order the UBC material and then get started on the Online learning the material while they wait for the UBC material. Choice is yours. All the Real Smart material is Online waiting for you.

Common questions before you Register:
Do I have to pay for both UBC and Real Smart?
Yes. You pay UBC their fee to register and get their material and you pay Real Smart Learning Centre their fee to actually teach you the course and make you PASS!
UBC is a correspondence course, meaning you teach yourself all the math, get through the sneak wording of the law, do all the assignments on your own an you prepare yourself for the exam. Real Smart actually teaches you through the huge UBC manual step by step starting with their own Secret to the Math™ winning system along with explaining the law in simple terms. We break each chapter down and visually show you what the important information is and what it means, in simple English. You are provided the Real Smart Workbook that is skilfully written with the most key components of the course chapter by chapter, quizzes, reviews, exam prep, mock exams and more, to ensure you understand and are prepared to write the exam and pass.
Who is going to help me with my Assignments?
No one, if you do the course on your own. If you choose to come to Real Smart, well you are now supported and part of our training system with tools and instructors and other students just like you who understand education is an investment in you. We open our classroom doors remember 30 minutes early and you have this time complimentary from us to work with your instructor or other students in your class and seek help on any questions throughout your entire course. You have access to getting your questions answered immediately whether you are In Class or doing the Online course.
Can I just borrow my friends UBC books and not register with UBC?
You can to get started with using a friend’s UBC material and save the expense..temporarily. You will eventually have to register and pay UBC their course fee in order to register for their exam. You cannot send in your Assignments if you are not registered with UBC as well, or write the LPI if needed if you are not registered with UBC. But if you are not sure about the course, it’s a good way to start for the short term. Then again, it does not really commit you to this and you must be committed to working hard, passing and into your new Dream Career! A little hard work, a little money and you have yourself and new Big Career!

How long will it take me to get the Online program from Real Smart?
Once you have registered with Real Smart Online and made payment, you will be sent an email with your user name and password within 24 hours.
Can I extend the Online if I need more time?
Our goal to is to get you in a system online so time does not run out. It’s too easy to procrastinate and then time flies by…whoosh! So we have a system online that keeps you on track. You will have that once you register. We do have extensions but they cost. We want to encourage you to follow our system and get it done appropriately. Remember, you have access 24/7 anywhere in the world that has Internet, anytime, any pace. You are best to read www.realsmart.ca/programs/online-e-learning-courses/
What happens if I fail the exam?
UBC will allow you rewrite the exam every 90 days, for a fee ($125 approx) each time. You must pass by 65% . Don’t let that number fool you, many do. There is a 70% failure rate with people attempting the ubc exam without the assistance of a tutorial class like Real Smart.
I’m going to miss classes, what happens?
We give you access to what you missed using our Online Video course for a small fee. We do not allow students to jump in and out of other classes if they miss classes. It sounds good if other training facilities tell you they do. But our Real Smart students see the professional difference when they are in our classes knowing, no new students are starting in their class once is starts or popping in causing disruption. We have your back and we make sure your class is a great learning environment free from distractions.
Will Real Smart help me find a job? Should I be looking now, before I start?
Yes! Sandy actually has the background experience to ensure, together we find the right company that fits well for you. Sandy asks you just concentrate on passing, we will help you with the rest. We cover job prep in class and online and provide you with a list of great interview questions as well. Real Smart Learning Centre has been working with the top real estate, mortgage broker firms in the lower mainland and Fraser valley for over 10 years now. They all know of Real Smart. We will help guide you to right company.
Do you want to sell commercial or residential or both? Then we need to make sure you are working for a real estate firm that specializes in commercial real estate.
Do you want sell the New Condo’s – work in Show Homes? Then we make sure you make appointments with Project Marketing Companies like Bosa, Concord Pacific, Intrawest to name a few…..
Do you want to work in a Team? You could be the Buyers Agent and work with the Team leaders clients selling them homes. Never have to look for work!

3) Under Licensing Courses click on Registration
4) Under Registration click Licensing Course Online Registration for Real Estate, OR Mortgage Course Online Registration.
5) Complete the form and hit Proceed.
• Answer UBC’s questions
• Choose the appropriate course
• Purchase the HP10B11 Calculator (or buy from any office supply store)
• Read withdrawal policies and hit PROCEED
• Enter your credit card information
• UBC will send you an email with your Student #
• UBC will deliver the material to your home in 3–5 business days.
Once you have your UBC student# you can go back to the UBC site and under Course Resources Login, put in your student# and birth date. Everything UBC will be sending you is right there in pdf format.
