Can I start the Online Course early?

Can I start the Virtual Live Classroom anytime I want?
We have your best interest at heart. We understand how adult learning works, so we start our courses at scheduled times. Joining classes part way through may sound good, but you are forever playing catch up or waiting for the newbies to catch up to you. Plus, students have already gotten to know each other, and it becomes very disruptive for your learning.
We know learning from the very beginning is one of the reasons our students are so successful. It’s way we have had thousands pass. We have been teaching this course for over since 2000, after all we are the original creators! So, we have set dates and times as you can see in our Zoom Course Schedule.
How will I learn?
You will have a Real Smart Workbook (hardcopy) that has all the math and the law condensed down to key information that you can follow along with.
Your instructor will be using a PowerPoint presentation as she/he explains in simple terms each part of the chapter or math.
You will be taught 1 lesson of Math (with the exclusive Real Smart Easy Way copyrighted way) and typically 2 chapters of law.
You see your math does not start until further chapters, but we do not wait! No, if you wait to do the math, then you will drop all the law you just learned. We have the educational background to teach adults. The best way for you to learn is by math and law at the same time, keeping this all at the top of mind.
We know what it takes to understand the UBC material and we make sure you do too. You will be shown:
- How to read a law question that is very different than what how you read a math question
- The trick to do a Multiple Choice question fast
- What you must do when you start your UBC Exam!
Please ask questions. Every class you can log in 30 minutes early and ask for help on your assignments. And of course: feel free to email us your questions. We are here for you 7 days a week!

How to start on your path of becoming a realtor?
Check the UBC educational requirements
If you do not have the English requirements stated below then the English Language Proficiency Requirement may be satisfied by achieving a level 7 or higher on each of the four components (reading, writing, speaking and listening) of the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program – General (CELPIP-G) test on the same test score report (scores from multiple test attempts cannot be combined).
The English Language Proficiency Requirement (ELPR) must be satisfied prior to exam registration, however, if registration is your intention, we strongly recommend that you consider satisfying the ELPR prior to course registration. Students must satisfy the ELPR by achieving a level 7 or higher on each of the four components (reading, writing, speaking and listening) of the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program – General (CELPIP-G) test on the same test score report (scores from multiple test attempts cannot be combined). An applicant is deemed to have satisfied the ELPR if he or she:
- graduated from a recognized university Bachelor’s degree or higher degree program at an accredited university, college or technical institute at which English is the primary language of instruction; or
- has been registered or licensed in another Canadian jurisdiction with English language standards and have satisfied that jurisdiction’s English language requirements
If none of the above apply, students are required to take the CELPIP-G test. Students are responsible to register for this test and pay the applicable test fee. If you are required to take the CELPIP-G test, you can view or get notified about the CELPIP-G Test Schedule in your area. If you are required to take the CELPIP-G test for the Mortgage Brokerage course, when you register for the CELPIP-G test, please select “UBC Sauder Real Estate Division” as your reason for taking the test. Please note that if you have taken the CELPIP-G test in the past, your test is only valid for 3 years from the date of the test.
