Frequently asked questions about Private Elite Individual Course
What’s included in Private Elite?
You will have one instructor teaching you through the entire course individually. Our Real Smart Workbook will be provided to you in class or online that you can follow along with. In class you will be looking at our PowerPoint presentations as your instructor explains using great examples to simplify the chapters of law and math. We start the math day 1 along with the law keeping all the information fresh.
Plus you will receive FREE our Online Interactive Program! You will have 24/7 access to the complete online course for 4 months as well as be taught the course with a live instructor. Having the Online allows you to login anytime, anywhere and sit back and be taught the lessons of math and law again or repeat the learning over and over again. You have control over how often and how many times you watch a lesson. Then take a quiz after each lesson to see how you are doing. We have reviews, quizzes, finals our Workbook and Course Outline, exam prep and the most important is 3 -100 question “Timed” Mock Exams so you can see if you are ready to write the UBC exam. This is NOT just a video tape of our classroom lectures. No, we use a multimillion dollar platform that teaches you the Real Smart way, every step of the way
Is there any support for my questions?
Yes, absolutely! You can come into class 30 minutes early and ask your instructor questions on any part of the course throughout your course. Plus, you have Sandy as your support online. We answer our phones 7 days a week, we take emails and texts. We are here for you.
How long typically will it take me?
Because we are teaching only you, we cut out the “fluff” part of the course and bring you exactly what is needed with time for you to ask questions and try question to ensure you understand today’s lessons. We teach the Private Elite typically over 30 hours. Classroom with other students is 42-45 (breaks etc).
So depending on how often you want to learn. If you meet with your instructor in class or online 3 times a week, it will probably take 3- 4 weeks. But maybe one week you only can meet once that week, so this is where the flexibility comes in.
When will I be writing the UBC exam?
UBC will only let you hand in 2 assignments per week, so that’s a total of 10 weeks before you are even allowed to register to write the exam. But typically after a student learns everything we teach them, they need a few weeks, a few months depending on how busy your life is and how much studying time you put into it during and after our course. Don’t worry; we help you understand your assignments if you’re having any troubles at all.
Is there help and support available?
Yes. You can email in your questions anytime and we will respond quickly to help you with anything you need. We are open for your questions 7 days a Week! 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

If you do not have the English requirements stated below then the English Language Proficiency Requirement may be satisfied by achieving a level 7 or higher on each of the four components (reading, writing, speaking and listening) of the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program – General (CELPIP-G) test on the same test score report (scores from multiple test attempts cannot be combined).
The English Language Proficiency Requirement (ELPR) must be satisfied prior to exam registration, however, if registration is your intention we strongly recommend that you consider satisfying the ELPR prior to course registration. Students must satisfy the ELPR by achieving a level 7 or higher on each of the four components (reading, writing, speaking and listening) of the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program – General (CELPIP-G) test on the same test score report (scores from multiple test attempts cannot be combined). An applicant is deemed to have satisfied the ELPR if he or she:
- graduated from a recognized university Bachelor’s degree or higher degree program at an accredited university, college or technical institute at which English is the primary language of instruction; or
- has been registered or licensed in another Canadian jurisdiction with English language standards and have satisfied that jurisdiction’s English language requirements
If none of the above apply, students are required to take the CELPIP-G test. Students are responsible to register for this test and pay the applicable test fee. If you are required to take the CELPIP-G test, you can view or get notified about the CELPIP-G Test Schedule in your area. If you are required to take the CELPIP-G test for the Mortgage Brokerage course, when you register for the CELPIP-G test, please select “UBC Sauder Real Estate Division” as your reason for taking the test. Please note that if you have taken the CELPIP-G test in the past, your test is only valid for 3 years from the date of the test
How do I send in my Assignment Answers and does Real Smart help with them?
UBC will be sending you a student number. Once you have this and you have completed an assignment, you will then log into their website and enter your answers there.
This area is where you will be submitting your assignment answers as well as see your results. Bulletins are here as well for any mistakes UBC has made or any changes to the program will all be listed here. We will help you with this as well.
You are permitted to submit 2 assignments only in one week, and we will help you if you have any questions!
